Your favorite golf course is back.
After lots of rain & a tropical storm, the course is back in playable condition. We will be open Thursday, September 13th with 9 holes , cart restrictions will be 90 degrees in most places and we will have areas roped off to limit cart traffic. We hope to have all 18 holes open by Friday. We have done our best to prepare the golf course as we still are at the mercy of Mother Nature. Lets all hope for dry weather as we say a little prayer for those in the path of Hurricane Florence. Golf on Thursday and Friday will be $23.36 plus tax

The golf course is still closed but we will have the restaurant and bar openthis weekend from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm so that you can watch College Football , FedEx Cup Golf , US Open Tennis, Football on Sunday, MLB Playoff races and all your favorite sports in the MOC Bar and Grill,as well as the driving range will be open as well.
. We wanted to give everyone an update on course conditions. The golf course seems to continually receive heavy rainfall on overly saturated ground which is just sitting and not draining at all. We have always had a few areas with poor drainage but now everything is waterlogged. It has been almost ten days since we have been able to mow some of the fairways and 7 days since we have been able to mow rough. Equipment has been getting stuck and to continue right now we would be doing more harm than good to the golf course. We tried to open a few days last week and were open on the weekend but as the rain continued to fall golfers were emphasizing that the golf course was unplayable as they were sinking while walking from the cart path to the fairway. Balls were being lost from plugging. We do not want to put out a product that is “sloppy” and not what we know as golf. We want The MOC experience to be enjoyable and right now it is not. We will open the course again once we are able to mow.

Unfortunately the MOC will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday as the golf course has received too much rain to drain and more to come the next couple of days. With the Tropical Storm Gordon bands hitting us over the next 12 hours The course will need a couple of days to recover instead of trying to make a call day by day.

The MOC just received another storm that has made the golf course unplayable closing us down for the Labor Day holiday. We did our best to try to be open but Mother Nature has had other plans.

The Golf Course will be open Saturday September 1st but will be CART PATH ONLY. All 4 tires must be on the path at all times. It is still very wet with more rain in the forecast. We are doing our best to open the golf course and we need everyone’s help in abiding by the cart rules. Thank you.
